A flight of rainbirds

The movie A flight of rainbirds, based on the novel by Dutch author Maarten ‘t Hart, was the first big movie production for which Van Rooyen was asked to compose and arrange the music.

The movie was such a big hit that the producer Veronica decided to make a tv show based on the main theme of the movie which was a spectacular orchestral piece taped in the Amsterdam discotheque IT.
